DirectSmile revolutionizes the creation of online marketing campaigns
Berlin, 16th June 2010 – A new chapter in online-marketing has started with the launch of the first intuitive software for personalized online campaigns – DirectSmile Cross Media, version 4.0 – enabling users to easily create highly targeted campaigns for increased success and return on investment.
Announced today at “Mailingdays” in Nuremberg, Germany, DirectSmile Cross Media 4.0 enables the creation of highly targeted e-mailings and personalized URLs (PURLs), without specialist support and without prior knowledge of HTML.
Commercially available in August 2010, this new version of Cross Media introduces a new, unique feature: a revolutionary layout and campaign-tool that makes the creation of database-driven online-campaigns with personalized content easier than ever.
Without HTML know-how and programming skills, anyone can now produce layouts for PURLs and e-mailings including personalized customer-relevant images and documents and distribute the finished result to a database of individual recipients.

With a unique, comfortable user interface, all elements of the PURL or email design (text, images or frames) can be arranged by dragging and dropping them into a template. Without changing the application, the result is immediately shown in a browser preview. As the format is compatible with all current browsers, users of DirectSmile Cross Media 4.0 can be assured that the preview displayed will be exactly as the addressee will see it.
